Stories From the Pantry is the creation of Lisa Abeyta, an tech startup founder, mom and longtime foodie. Previously a food writer and journalist, Lisa founded a startup in 2009 and spent the next decade working with a talented team to develop technologies to improve cities, including a patented no-code mobile app publishing platform as well as voice assistants and blockchain solutions. Lisa also cofounded a women entrepreneur’s networking group and nonprofit to provide support and mentoring.

Lisa currently serves as Founder and CEO of APPCityLife and is a founding member of the Board of Directors for Voices in Action, a nonprofit founded by Jessica Barth to create tools and programs to address the problem of sexual misconduct in the entertainment industry. She is also a columnist for Inc.

Stories From the Pantry videos are produced in collaboration with the New Mexico Association for Youth in Media, a nonprofit that provides unique opportunities for young New Mexicans to gain strong work experience in the film industry.
